Devoted supporters of the actress are calling for that a man who leaped a fence and touched the celebrity during Thursday's Wicked: For Good premiere be detained or deported from Singapore.

A viral clip depicts the Australian man pushing past media personnel and charging at Grande while the actors made its way down a promenade surrounded by supporters.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo quickly wrested the shocked star away from Mr Wen, who was observed being led away of the event by event staff.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram recently that he was "free after being detained", though official papers revealed that he was set to attend court on the following morning. It is unknown if he was faced legal action.

Record of Disruptions

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Troll Most Hated", has crashed a concert or event. His Instagram feed includes recordings of him interrupting other high-profile occasions, including breaching the performance area at the pop singer's Sydney concert in June this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers performance in the same location last winter.

"Measures must be taken taken against him as this is obviously a legal violation," wrote an Instagram commenter, in a reply to a video Mr Wen posted of his act.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" a different Instagram user questioned.

Supporters Show Disapproval Over Grande's Well-being

Several supporters accused Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had spoken of experiencing trauma-related anxiety after a devastating incident at the finale of her spring 2017 concert in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and harming hundreds.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" said another comment on Instagram.

Some attendees also faulted security officers at the gathering for not being sufficiently alert; while others requested online networks to remove Mr Wen's uploads.

Reaction and Premiere Information

In clips shared widely, Grande seemed surprised when she was approached by the man. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed consoling her while Mr Wen was removed by staff.

Grande has not commented on the incident, and the rest of the event continued without further issues.

Hundreds of Singapore attendees had waited to greet the actors of Wicked

Many of attendees had congregated in a sea of emerald and rose at the Wicked: For Good international debut in a Singapore shopping center, including some who had stood in line for as long as eight hours before it commenced.

The motion picture, to be released on the 21st of November, is the sequel of a two-part interpretation of the acclaimed stage show Wicked, which focuses on the unlikely friendship between two distinct characters.

The musical itself is a adaptation of the classic children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the good witch Glinda, was decked out in a rosé sparkling outfit at the event while Erivo, who portrays the Elphaba, wore a black tube gown embroidered with roses.

They were alongside cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The previous installment, Wicked, was the top-earning motion picture of 2024 in the UK, and received ten award recognitions, winning a pair for best costume and production design.
