AC Shadows Unveils Surprising Attack on Titan Crossover for Holiday Season

In a surprising crossover event that defies traditional forecasts, Ubisoft has revealed an in-game partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.

Strange Questline Uncovered

According to the official statement, "A strange encounter leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where whispers of prohibited ceremonies and monstrous changes resonate through the shadows." The plot presents a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a secret cult.

The adventure concentrates on "peculiar trials and a fearsome enemy" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Familiar Locations and Transformations

The preview showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser concludes with a dramatic scene showing a character, likely the captive, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Rewards and Bonus Content

Players who accomplish the quest will acquire an exclusive katana together with multiple artifacts secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:
